On May 5 & 6 more than 150 people from across the diocese gathered for the Water and the Word Conference where they emersed themselves in learning and dreaming about the future of the church in Southwest Florida.
Opening with worship and the plenary Marked as Christ’s Own: Baptism in the Present Tense from the Rt. Rev. Doug Scharf, the conference continued through Saturday night, offering four plenaries and nine workshops in formation, evangelism, transformational ministry, discipleship, and more.
